I just couldn't see him raping her and then walking away from her. Egads! She was totally ruined. I could see him forcing a marriage but not walking away. She is one of the few authors whose contemporary romances I will read, too.

ReganRegan Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02977297105533227463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983741341986557.post-22835983090783023192012-09-28T12:11:33.220-07:002012-09-28T12:11:33.220-07:00Whitney, My Love was the book that first introduce...Whitney, My Love was the book that first introduced me to historical romance and so, despite the controversy over the 'rape', it still has a place in my heart and on my keeper shelf. I went onto read Until You and A Kingdon of Dreams and the series has remained one of my all time favourites.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983741341986557.post-74883618675761890802012-02-09T08:05:02.201-08:002012-02-09T08:05:02.201-08:00Thanks, Virginia, for stopping by.
