But in my medievals, you won't see the term "royal blue" (though you will see the sapphire color) as that term didn't show up until the 18th century.Regan Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02977297105533227463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983741341986557.post-47731773520816182272015-10-20T09:19:06.157-07:002015-10-20T09:19:06.157-07:00I like sapphire and emerald, too, Dee. This is a wonderful post and I love how much research you do to bring authenticity to your books. Love, love, love it.

Blue is my very favorite color - all shades of blue but particularly royal blue and also teal (but more on the blue side than the green, if it makes sense). Deep wine reds are also very beautiful and "vieux rose".

I already have an eBook of The Red Wolf's Prize. I think that Morris's glass, seen in many English churches today, is incredibly beautiful. My favourite colour would be the deep wine-red which is very characteristic of his work.

P.S.
I already have a copy of 'The Red Wolf's Prize .... it's next up on my kindle!Quantumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11006999108099821535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983741341986557.post-69912908840926055272015-10-19T12:02:35.467-07:002015-10-19T12:02:35.467-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Quantumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11006999108099821535noreply@blogger.com
