I'm very excited to explore! I have several favorite authors; Johanna Lindsey, Judith Mcnaught, Shannon Drake, Jude Deveraux, Juliet Marillier...To name the authors I go back to all the time for romance (slash fantasy). Unfortunately I came to the point where I've read all of their books, and there is nothing more disappointing than trying a new romance author, and being sorely let down. In my experience it happens more often than in say...Fantasy or Science Fiction. And as a librarian, I am constantly trying to find romances of a calibre I can show other librarians, to show that they are not just "bodice rippers not worth the paper they're printed on". Can't wait, I can already see a title that intrigues me in the side column, and more than one of my aforementioned authors, so I know I won't be let down! Yipee!!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17490146330314962227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983741341986557.post-33678900682533449082011-11-22T09:06:33.614-08:002011-11-22T09:06:33.614-08:00WOW! I love Kathleen Woodiwiss's early works but never thought about Wulfgar as a Viking...his is a William the Conqueror knight. (The Wolf and the Dove is on my Best Medieval Romances list.) The Dream of Me trilogy by Josie Litton is in my "to be read" stack.I have stayed away from Sandra Hill because so many of hers are fantasy rather than history. But you've given me some to read!Regan Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02977297105533227463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983741341986557.post-71886253705223071932011-11-21T19:11:14.592-08:002011-11-21T19:11:14.592-08:00I loved Raeliksen and Mac Liam too.
