Interview for Bound by Honor, the award-winning second novel
in The Clan Donald Saga.
Set against the struggle for Scottish independence, Bound by Honor tells the remarkable story of Angus Og Macdonald, Lord of the Isles, and his enduring friendship with Robert the Bruce. From their early years to the decisive Battle of Bannockburn, their lives become entwined through promises of loyalty, political upheaval and a shared determination to secure Scotland's future.
In this interview I talk about the history behind this extraordinary friendship, the powerful role of Clan Donald in Scotland's struggle for independence, and the men and women whose courage, sacrifices and loyalties helped shape the course of a nation.
